The Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaii has posted on its website recruitment and application information about the next class in its Agricultural Leadership Program (ALP).

The application deadline is Nov. 16. This 16-month program, January 2013 to May 2014, includes seven three-to-four day seminars across the state and a two-week trip to the mainland.

Through the ALP, participants will develop the knowledge, relationships, tools and skills that will enable them to be more successful in their work and other community endeavors. Twelve applicants working in agricultural, natural resource management and rural communities will be selected.

The foundation is holding a series of informational webinars about the program. The final online session will be at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
